The tournament team went and competed in march at a big competition and they smashed it!!
Sensei Gill and the team are so proud of how much they stepped up when they got on the mats. From behaviour, uniform and just overall etiquette it was seen by a number of clubs at the competition and by the organisers themselves.
This is why the instructor team love doing what they do!
Well done to the following:
David Marsland, 2nd kata, 2nd kumate
Emily Beamish, 2nd in kata, 1st Kumate
Jacob Melling, 2nd kata, 2nd Kumate
Lennon Kenny, 1st Kata, 3rd Kumate
Margaux Adshead, 2nd kata, 3rd Kumate
Oliver Delaney, 3rd kata, 3rd Kumate
Reuben Stapleton 2nd kata, 3rd Kumate.
Thank you to all parents who came to watch and provided lifts and especially thank you to Sean for stepping up as a club coach.
A big well done to Oliver for getting a recognition award for demanding true karataka throughout the competition and always helping others
A big well done to Reuben for getting a recognition award for being the best karataka.
We are SO proud of everyone! Here’s to the next competition doing just as good.
